Memory Café


The Memory Café a place where people with memory loss can spend time together with their caregivers to enjoy
conversation, grab a bite to eat, and participate in social activities.

2016 Dates 

Memory Café meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm at Miss Katie's Diner, located at 1900 West Clybourn Street in Milwaukee.

SPARK! Cultural Program for People with Memory Loss


SPARK! is a free program for caregivers and loved ones experiencing beginning to mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss.

SPARK! programs feature interactive experiences in a welcoming environment. Specially-trained Museum educators engage participants in lively discussions, art-making, encountering museum artifacts and other multi-sensory activities.

Jewish Museum Milwaukee and Adult Day Center work to create meaningful activities that SPARK! participants in conversation and creativity.

2015 - 2016 Dates & Topics

SPARK! Programs start at 10:00 am and last for an hour and a half and are followed by an opportunity for participants to socialize.

  • February 5, 2016: An Ethiopian Adventure
  • March 4, 2016: Arthur Szyk and his Hagaddah
